Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 August 2026

Token Range collects no personal data. There is no Token Range server, no account, and no analytics. Your provider credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and are sent only to the provider that issued them.

who this is from

Token Range is an iOS app published by Shay Soyele, an independent developer. Questions about this policy go to support@tokenrange.app.

what is collected

Nothing. Token Range has no backend. It does not create an account, does not ask for your name or email, does not use analytics or crash-reporting services, and contains no advertising or tracking SDKs. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted to the developer, because there is nowhere for it to be transmitted to.

Because no data is collected, no data is sold, shared, or used for tracking across apps or websites, and there is no profile to build.

your provider credentials

When you connect an AI coding tool, that provider's sign-in flow returns an access token. That token is written to the iOS Keychain, the encrypted credential store built into your device.

Sign-in uses OAuth with PKCE where the provider supports it, so your password is entered on the provider's own page and is never seen by Token Range.

what the app connects to

Every request is made directly from your device over HTTPS. The full list of hosts the app can contact:

HostWhySends your data?
Anthropic (Claude Code) Sign-in and reading your own usage limits Your Claude credential only
OpenAI (Codex) Sign-in and reading your own usage limits Your Codex credential only
Cursor Sign-in and reading your own usage limits Your Cursor credential only
openrouter.ai Reads OpenRouter's public list of AI models so the app can tell you when a new model appears No. Unauthenticated request, no credential, no identifier, nothing about you
Apple (App Store) Processing the one-time Lifetime Pro purchase Handled entirely by Apple; the developer never sees your payment details

Token Range talks to no other server. It has no server of its own to talk to.

what stays on your device

Your connected providers, usage history, alert thresholds, theme choice, and widget settings are stored locally in an app group container shared between the app and its widgets. This data is not readable by other apps and is never uploaded.

purchases

Lifetime Pro is a single one-time purchase of $9.99. It is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple does not give the developer your name, email, or payment method. There is no subscription.

notifications

If you allow notifications, alerts about limit resets and thresholds are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. There are no push notifications, so no notification token is registered or transmitted.

children

Token Range is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no data from anyone, children included.

your rights

Rights such as access, correction, deletion, and portability under the GDPR, the CCPA, and similar laws apply to data a company holds about you. The developer holds none. To erase everything Token Range has stored, delete the app; that removes the Keychain entries and the local data with it.

changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a material change will be noted in the App Store release notes. Any future version that collected data would require your explicit consent first.

this website

tokenrange.app is a static product site. It uses no cookies, no advertising pixels, and no web analytics. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and the host may process technical information such as an IP address and request logs in order to deliver and secure the site, under its own terms.

terms of use

Use of the app is governed by the Terms of Use and by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

not affiliated

Token Range is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, OpenAI, Anysphere, Google, or xAI. Provider names are used only to identify the services you choose to connect, and each remains the trademark of its owner.
